Monitor function

You can switch back and forth between TV reception and

video recorder reception with the I monitor I button. This only

functions when you used a scart cable to connect the video

recorder to your TV set and if your TV set responds to this

switch-over.

Sort/Clear TV channels manually

With 'Connecting with Easy Link/NexTView'the video

recorder automatically loads the TV channels from the

TV set. Hence, you can not select this function.

m Switch on the TV set. If required, select the programme

numberforthe video recorder.

m Press the IMENuI button. The main menu appears.

IT] Selectthe line 'INSTALLATION' with the menu buttons

I PI lor I Pt land confirm with the I-» I button.

|T] Selectthe line 'TV CHANNEL ALLOCATION' with the

menu buttons I pi lor [TT]and confirm with the

button.

Setting the clock and the date

If the time in the video recorder display is not correct or if

appears in the display, please set the clock manually.

m Switch on the TV set. If required, selectthe programme

numberforthe video recorder.

m Press the ImenuI button. The main menu appears.

[si Adjust'TIME', 'YEAR', 'MONTH', 'DATE' if required, using

the digit buttons [o|9]. Switch between fields with the

menu buttons |TT]or [pT].

HI Confirm each entry with the foKl button.

m To end, press the I menuI button.

[}>■ If a TV channel which transmits TXT/PDC is stored with

programme number 'P01', time (from TXT) and date (from

PDC) will automatically be taken from the TXT/PDC

information.

HI With the menu buttons fFTlor I Pt I, selectthe TV

channel to which you want to allocate a programme

number (starting with 'P01') and press the I-»- I button.

Ifyouwantto delete a TV channel, press the

iCLEARicui button.

[T1 With the menu buttons I PI lor [?2-shift the TV chan

nel to the programme number you wish to allocate to this

TV channel and press the rF~| button. The TV channel

will be added.

in Repeat steps |^to [§] until you have allocated a

programme number to all TV channels.

m To store, press the button.

HI To end, press the I menuI button.
