Automatic recording from a satellite

receiver (SAT RECORDING)_______________________

You can only use this function, when you have a satellite

receiver, which can control other equipment by a 'program

ming'function.

m Switch on the TV set. If required, select the programme

number forthe video recorder.

[2I Press the IMENUI button. The main menu appears.

m Selectthe line 'RECORD FUNCTIONS' with the menu

buttons I P'f lor I Pt Land confirm with the I-» Ibut-

ton.

m Selectthe line 'RECORD SETTINGS'with the menu

buttons I PI lor I Pt I, and confirm with the I-*- Ibut-

ton.

m Selectthe required scart socket 'El'or'E2'with the

menu buttons | lor l-> I.

If you want to switch off the function, select 'OFF' with

the menu buttons l->- lor I-*- I.

m Confirm with the foi^ button.

m Use a scartcableto connect the scart socketyou

selected on the video recorder (lAVi EXTil or |AV2EXT2| ) to

the corresponding scart socket on the satellite receiver.

El Insert a cassette.

M To end, press the I standby 0~| button. The video record

er is now prepared for recording. The start and end of

the recording is controlled via one of the scart sockets.

\A/hen this function is switched on, ' appears in the

display.

With this function switched on, and the video recorder

switched to standby, the video recorder automatically takes

the channel number which is currently selected on the

television when it starts recording, by means of the scart

cable.

With 'Connecting with scart cable and 'Easy Link/NexT-

View', the video recorder also takes the programme

number from the TV set automatically with the video

recorder switched on.

m Switch on the TV set. if required, selectthe programme

number forthe video recorder.

Don't select another programme number on your TV set,

until the 'search symbol' in the display of your video

recorder disappears. This can take up to one minute.

When'NOTV'appears in the display, the programme

number could not be found. The video recorder switches

off automatically.
